Barcelona - Campus Clinic

Global Health Student Intern to Develop Global Health Analysis Case Study. 

This internship is offered within the framework of education and training programmes at ISGlobal, with the objective of developing resources for academic use.

The selected candidate will be provided with the necessary basic documentation and guidelines, as well as the learning objectives to be covered, and will report to the Director of Education and Training and work closely with several ISGlobal Researchers and the Education and Training Team to complete this project.


  • Final version of academic case study in Global Health Analysis (Epidemiology, Qualitative Methods, Biostatistics, Economic Analysis), written in English.
  • Interim drafts of the case study / sections of the case study to be produced throughout the development process.
  • Bibliographic research as needed.


  • Current student / recent graduate of an accredited master’s degree in Global Health, International Health or Public Health
  • Postgraduate level coursework in Epidemiology, Qualitative Methods, Biostatistics, and Economic Analysis in the Global Health context; Advanced Epidemiology preferred.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; Spanish and/or Catalan proficiency preferred.
  • Professional knowledge of standards of reference and citation and major resources for bibliographic research in Global Health, International Health and Public Health
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
  • Professional experience in Global Health is valued.


  • Hours: Part time – approximately 10 hours per week
  • Start date: 17 June 2021
  • Finish date: 10 September 2021 
  • Duration of project:  a maximum of 112 hours of work
