Job offer: Bioinformatics Research Assistant - Chagas group - Part time position.


the Barcelona Institute for Global Health, ISGlobal, is the fruit of an innovative alliance between academic, government, and philanthropic institutions to contribute to the efforts undertaken by the international community to address the challenges in global health.
ISGlobal is looking for a research assistant with bioinformatics background to provide support to the Chagas group laboratory team with ongoing projects towards the analysis of T. cruzi epitopes.


Barcelona - Campus Clinic (CEK)

Main duties and tasks:

development and use of immunoinformatics tools, maintenance of already available scripts, and data analysis.

Secondary tasks:

scientific writing, training of students, dissemination of results and outreach of research activities.

Training and experience:

Graduate in Biology or a Biomedical sciences degree, knowledge of immunoinformatics and experienced in the analysis of large epitope databases.


Galaxy suit, Python programming, Biomedical training.


Spanish, Catalan, English.
