Francesco Ramponi is a postdoctoral research fellow in Health Economics. He works on the CRUZIVAX project, which aims to inform the development of a vaccine for Chagas disease and analyse costs and health-related quality of life associated with Chagas in Argentina and Spain.

His research interests lie in the application of economic evaluation to inform decision making in health care in low- and middle-income countries. In particular, he focuses on the economic evaluation of public health programmes with impacts on multiple sectors.

Francesco Ramponi holds a BSc in Economics (University of Trieste, Italy), an MSc in Economics and Public Finance (University of Padua, Italy), and a PhD in Health Economics (Centre for Health Economics, University of York).

Prior to joining ISGlobal, he was a research fellow at the Centre for Health Economics.
