What we are looking for
We are seeking applicants for a part-time (50%) Postdoc post in paediatric epidemiology to work on the follow-up of an international European epidemiological project on child cohorts focusing on the evaluation of common infections on child health and specifically neurodevelopment, growth/obesity and asthma and allergies.
Main duties and tasks
Participate in research on follow-up of child cohorts coordinated by the NCDs and Environment program, in relation to common infections evaluated through serological analyses and health outcomes; participate in the coordination of the project; do the statistical analysis, report results and write the main publications from the European project
Interact with the Child health program of ISGlobal and with the immunology lab; supervise new researchers (master/PhD).
Training and experience
Candidates must have an earned doctorate in epidemiology or a related discipline by the position start date, a record of peer reviewed publications and experience in research in child health.
Knowledge of statistics for cohort analysis of epidemiological data; use of STATA or R.
