What We Are Looking for

ISGlobal is seeking an experienced, organized and autonomous postdoctoral researcher to join the AIRLAB, led by the Climate and Health programme. The candidate will work in the new AirCOVID project, funded by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII). This project aims to study the air SARS-CoV2 transmission and the development of faster and more sensitive detection methods, as well as the application of new technologies for the real-time detection of airborne viruses.

Specific Duties

Competences:

  • Computational modeler for numerical analysis of COVID-19 datasets.

Training and experience:

  • Experience on complex statistical analyses and data science and  mathematical coding for the integration and the visualization of massive streams of data and libraries related with aerosol microbes.

 

 

Skills

  • Teamwork.

Language level

  • Fluent English skills for writing and oral communication.

Conditions

  • Duration: 8,5 months.  
  • Starting date : 15/07/2020.
