What we are looking for

ISGlobal is seeking a CMS administrator and Web Manager within the ​​development area of the IT team (SRI). The main task will be to provide technical support and maintenance, with WordPress and PLESK platforms, to several web applications and websites of the different scientific research projects. And other related tasks, like technical support for reported web application incidents, documentation of tools and services etc.

Additionally, this IT position will participate in development of an intranet-based project, with the overall goal of developing a fully functional KPI (indicators) system, as well as increasing the management and visibility of internal data of all the institute’s areas, placing this information in an accessible format in the institute’s intranet.

Requirements (knowledge and experience)

  • Administration of CMS Wordpress: development, plugins, deployment, maintenance, security and multisite installations
  • Websites and WebApps management with PLESK (web hosting control panel) 
  • Development in PHP, JavaScript, CSS and HTML
  • Relational DataBases Management (MySQL, MariaDB, SQLServer, PostgreSQL, others,)
  • Experience with GIT  Version Control System
  • Knowledge and management of Linux system (CentOS, Ubuntu, RedHat ...)
  • Intermediate level of English (written and spoken)

It will be valued

  • Knowledge of other CMS (Drupal, Joomla,...)
  • Knowledge and management WebApps: Ruby on Rails, LifeRay, Javascript (JQuery), HTML, HAML, CSS.
  • Knowledge of Google Apps (administrator profile)
  • Knowledge and experience of technical support with SAP-BO (customer incidents, Add-Ons updates, etc.)
  • Good treatment and relationship with people, professional communicative, self-taught and willing to work as a team.

Conditions

  • Temporary contract
  • Salary according to internal scales and experience and performance of candidates.
