ISGlobal privacy policy

1. General principles of data protection
ISGlobal, owner of the "www.isglobal.org" website, maintains confidentiality of personal data in compliance of current dispositions on data protection, particularly the Organic Act 15/1999, of December 13th, of Data Protection and uses the data respecting the purpose. Its employees likewise follow those indications, as well as the duty of secrecy over data subject to protection and the rest of confidentiality obligations in force.

2. Website users' personal data handling
a) Users of the e-mail address "Contacts"
In agreement with that established in the Organic Act 15/1999, the user is informed of the incorporation of his personal data to the file "Contacts and Institutional Relationships", owned by the Fundació Privada Institut de Salut Global Barcelona (ISGlobal) and the handling of the data with the purpose of managing contact data and institutional relationships. This data will not be handed over to persons or companies, public or private, without consent or if not authorized by Act.
The user has the right to object to the handling of any of his data and may exercise the rights to access, rectification, cancellation and opposition under the terms established under current legislation. For this purpose, he/she should contact ISGlobal at the address C/Rosselló 132, 5è 2a i 7è, 08036 - Barcelona or to the e-mail address lopd@isglobal.org.
Likewise, ISGlobal informs that users' data, and particularly the e-mail address used to contact ISGlobal, will also be subject to handling to inform them about education activities and other activities promoted by the Foundation, which may be interesting for them, under the terms established by the Organic Act 15/1999, of December 13th, of Protection of Personal Data and the Act 34/2002, of July 11th, of Services to the Society of Information and E-Commerce.
ISGlobal understands agreement to this handling if the user does not express his opposition upon contacting the Foundation, by means of the e-mail address lopd@isglobal.org or anytime within a 30-day period;
b) Information on the use of cookies policy
According to dispositions in Article 22 of Act 34/2002, of July 11th, of Services to the Society of Information and E-Commerce, ISGlobal informs that cookies or similar means will not be used to store information which may allow identification of the web user.
Cookies technology is used exclusively to facilitate ease of use and navigation on the website. The user may configure his browser in order to be notified of this and prevent the installation of cookies in the hard drive.

3. Personal data disclosure
ISGlobal commits to avoid handing over personal data provided by users by no mean, and to avoid selling, renting, or ceding personal data gathered from users to any company or entity, public or private, except if the owner has consented or if the Act establishes it mandatorily.

4. Personal data security
Personal data will be handled with the level of protection required under the Act, according to the regulation which develops LOPD (Royal Decree1720/2007, of December 21st), and appropriate security measures will be taken to avoid misuse, alteration, loss, unauthorized access or handling by third parties, which may use them for fraudulent purposes or purposes different than those for which they were requested to users.
